The Attack Piece Blocks are a type of block in the Mario & Luigi series. They first appear in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
Description[]
Attack Piece Blocks resemble pieces of a puzzle joined together to form a block, and a white uppercase "A" is shown on them. Whenever Mario or Luigi jump at one, they obtain an Attack Piece, ten of which allow them to learn a Special Attack. Not all Attack Pieces are obtained from an Attack Piece Block.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story[]
Attack Piece Blocks can be found both throughout Bowser's body and in the overworld. The Attack Pieces in Bowser's body have a two-dimensional appearance while the ones outside of him are three-dimensional. Bowser cannot activate an Attack Piece Block, only Mario or Luigi can.
