WarioWare

Arrow Space is a recurring microgame from Dribble and Spitz in the WarioWare series. It first appears in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! and WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, under the Sci-Fi folder, and returns in WarioWare Gold. It is also one of the microgames featured in the WarioWare, Inc. stage in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Layout[]

A ninja is standing in front of a wall outside a traditional Japanese-style building. A leafless tree can be seen to the right, and it has more branches in WarioWare Gold. The microgame uses the same grayscale graphics and music as in Ninja Vision.

Gameplay[]

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![]

The player controls a ninja who has to avoid a rain of arrows that first fly upward in the background before falling down to the area where he is. There is an opening between the arrows fired, which is shown at the start of the microgame, and the ninja must be moved there before the arrows comes. If the ninja gets hit by an arrow, the player loses at the microgame.

Super Smash Bros. series[]

Arrow Space in Super Smash Bros. Brawl

The objective for each fighter is to avoid the arrows, which can deal damage to them. The characters have more room to avoid the arrows, as they can hide offscreen. Whoever dodges the arrows wins at the microgame, but whoever gets hit by an arrow loses. Unlike the microgame's original appearance, the winning criteria is not affected by if the ninja gets hit by an arrow.

WarioWare Gold[]

The main gameplay is the same as in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. Like the WarioWare: Twisted! microgame Drywall Dodge, there are also wall panels that fall over, albeit in Levels and 3, with the former requiring the ninja to only avoid the wall panels while the latter requires him to avoid both the falling arrows and wall panels.

Difficulty levels[]

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$![]

  • Level 1: There are 11 arrows to dodge, and there is a wide gap between where they are fired.
  • Level 2: There are 12 arrows to dodge, and the gap for avoiding them is slightly smaller.
  • Level 3: There are 13 arrows to dodge, and the gap for avoiding them is even smaller.

WarioWare Gold[]

  • Level 1: Same as Level 2 from WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!.
  • Level 2: Eleven wall panels fall over, and the gap between them is the equivalent of five wall panels wide.
  • Level 3: The Ninja has to avoid either five and four wall panels, five arrows and six wall panels, or three arrows and five wall panels.
