Arrow Cloud

Arrow Clouds are a type of object featured exclusively within the Yoshi's Island series. They first appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.

Description[]

Throughout its appearances, an Arrow Cloud has had a consistent purpose of firing a Yoshi Egg in the direction its arrow is pointing. Some Arrow Clouds rotate, requiring precise timing before the Yoshi can shoot an egg at it. Arrow Clouds are often used to obtain an item, such as a Smiley Flower. They are sometimes found in groups, so if a Yoshi Egg is launched from one Arrow Cloud to another pointed in a different direction, the trajectory of the Yoshi Egg is changed accordingly.
