Arantulas are enemies featured in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They possess a target-like symbol on their back.
History[]
Arantulas are significantly more power variants of Piders, and are located in some of the lowest levels of the Pit of 100 Trials, levels 81 through 89. Arantulas are capable of dealing massive amounts of damage a turn that can add up to 21 from a single attack turn. These creatures also have much more health points, 16, putting Arantulas in the top five most powerful non-boss enemies in the game.
Aside from their higher stats, Arantulas are overall very similar to Piders during battle.
