MP2 - Board 4 - Mystery Land

Mystery Land, a playable board from Mario Party 2, is an example of ancient ruins theme.

Stages, levels, or locations with an ancient ruins theme are ares usually associated with a ruins. It is one of the main reoccuring themes of the series.

Other Traits and Features

One of the main features of ancient ruins-themed stages is that the area usually takes place in an area with many ancient artifacts and hieroglyphics. Ancient ruins-themed stages also tend to take place either within a deep forest or jungle or in a desert area.

Being ancient ruins theme, one of the common hazards of these stages are various of traps that can be set off. This can include pitfall traps, spikes, and rolling boulders.
