In Mario Party Advance[]
When said Game Room is entered, Amp notices the player and asks for help. If the player accepts, this initiates the Losing Streak quest. Amp explains that he has been trying to play the games at the game room for a long time, but he cannot win a single game. He hopes that if the player wins in his stead, he might start being luckier. In exchange, the player gets to keep the game that he has been losing in, Match 'Em. If the player wins more coins than what is started with, Amp excitedly says that his luck's finally going to change and wonders if the player is the Game Mage before saying goodbye. The end of the game states that the Amp is able to "hit a hot streak".
