Biography[]
Allegra makes her debut as the heroes traverse through the Melodic Gardens and she watches their exploration. After they save the Rabbid Musicians, Allegra comes out of hiding and they become friends. As she does so, Allegra reveals what is happening on the planet, including a new Spark Hunter, whose existence Edge knew nothing of. The heroes join Allegra to help her find a friend of hers, but then, Kanya then appears and reveals that Allegra's friend may be in danger. This devastates Allegra, causing her to run off while Kanya summons a robot version of King Bob-omb that she sics on the heroes.
After destroying Kanya's robot, the heroes later reunite with Allegra as she reunites with her friend, who is revealed to be Dorrie. Kanya then attacks the heroes with a mecha version of King Bob-omb. During the battle, the heroes free the Dorrie, and Kanya is defeated for good as a result, causing the music and biophonies (one of which Allegra shows as a reward) to be restored to the Melodic Gardens.
In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope[]
Allegra's Memory biography reads:
"Allegra is a fascinating study. An eco musician of rare ability, she is perfectly in tune with the natural world - and even her skin's pigmentation adapts to its mood. She wields her bio tuner like a baton, somehow bringing a unified vision to the collective sounds of an entire biome. It's her life's calling. It is not difficult to understand why, yet she is still somehow a mystery to me. One I fear I may never solve."
Behind the Scenes[]
Etymology[]
Allegra is named after the Italian musical tempo "Allegro," whose name comes from an Italian word meaning "happy" (allegro, to be specific).
Nomenclature[]
In Japanese, Allegra is called Aregura (written アレグラ), which has the same roots as her English name. In Chinese, she is called Āléigélā (written 阿雷格拉). In Spanish, the Italian name is retained, but pronounced "Al-YEH-grah." Italian uses the same name as the English name, with the same pronunciation ("Al-LEH-grah"). For some reason, the name is not translated properly into Portuguese.
