A Weighty Matter is one of Ashley's microgames in WarioWare: Get It Together!.

Layout[]

The microgame is zoomed in on a weight scale. A woman can be seen in the background, holding an hourglass for the duration of the minigame. If the player wins the microgame, she gives a thumbs up, but if they lose, the woman gets angry.

Gameplay[]

A Weighty Matter begins with ten nuts on the scale. The player's character has to remove some nuts for the needle on the scale to fall into the red area. If the needle falls into the red area when the time is up, the player wins the microgame, but otherwise lose if it is not. The player's character has the weight equivalent of one nut, meaning they can affect the placement of the needle by one simply by standing on the scale.

A Weighty Matter has one mission associated with it, Wild for Walnuts, and clearing it requires completing the microgame with only walnuts on the scale.

In two-player mode, whoever removes more nuts before reaching the red area earns an effort point, but whoever removes the second-to-last nut loses an effort point. If both characters remove the same number of nuts, neither of them receive any effort points.

Difficulty levels[]

The width of the red area and number of nuts required differs for each difficulty setting.

  • Level 1: The red area is five bars wide, and reaching the red area requires a number of nuts ranging from two to six.
  • Level 2: The red area is four bars wide, and reaching the red area requires a number of nuts ranging from two to five.
  • Level 3: The red area is three bars wide, and reaching the red area requires a number of nuts ranging from two to four.
