A Quick Dip in the Sky is the seventh level of Meringue Clouds in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is unlocked via completion of Spinning Spirit House and its own completion unlocks Snaking Above Mist Valley.

This level is set in a cliff area. The first section is inhabited by several red Koopa Troopas, while the second area has two circling Water Bubbles that surround a small piece of land, along with two Big Piranha Plants. After reaching the checkpoint, Mario will need to climb a bunch of giant bubbles while fending off against Piranha Plants and Fuzzies. A Warp Pipe is located at the very top. This will lead the player to the Goal Pole area, where a single Koopa Paratroopa is found.

Star Coins[]
- Star Coin 1: Before the Midway Point, it can be seen moving around the Big Piranha Plants. The player must defeat them to obtain it.
- Star Coin 2: Seen under a group of Koopa Paratroopas, inside a fake wall.
- Star Coin 3: Between two Fuzzies in the last section before the Goal Pole.
