75m is a stage seen in both Donkey Kong and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The stage is notable in that it has no actual background music. Only the springs that pass through the upper portion of the level are heard in this level.

Description[]

75m is a rather large stage. It contains many ladders and moving platforms that Mario can land on. It also has two fireball enemies and springs that constantly fall from the side. It is also mainly red and green in color.

In Donkey Kong[]

75m in Donkey Kong is considered one of the toughest stages. This is mainly due to how easily one can fall off the stage and the springs that always seem to fall. It is recommended that one works up then down then right back up. The spring never falls down the spot that the ladder is on.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl[]

75m returns as a playable stage in this game. It is unlocked by playing as Donkey Kong 20 times. The stage resembles the original Donkey Kong version but features more 3D effects.

Hazards[]

  • Fireballs: Unlike most levels, 75m only possesses two fireball enemies. In Donkey Kong, they can burn Mario, instantly defeating him. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, they can burn a player and have moderate knock-back.
  • Springs: 75m's most noticeable enemy, many springs continue to leap from Donkey Kong's side down to over half of the level. In Donkey Kong, they can be very tricky to avoid and is the reason for most of Mario's defeats in this level. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, they can strike a player having pretty high knock-back.
  • Donkey Kong: The main antagonist of Donkey Kong. In Donkey Kong, Mario can simply run into him to be instantly defeated. However, this is difficult to do, due to the constant Springs that appear from Donkey Kong's side of the screen. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Donkey Kong is only a hazard when his theme song plays and glows. Running into him (or being knocked into him by a Spring) will result in high knockback. He only appears on the stage itself for about 10 seconds.
