10-Coin Hex

The 10-Coin Hex is a type of Hex which appears in Mario Party DS.

Description[]

10-Coin Hexes are one of the more common Hexes picked up at a Hex Area. Whoever has a 10-Coin Hex can place it on any Blue Space or Red Space up to five Spaces away from where they are. As the name suggests, if an opponent ends their turn on a 10-Coin Hex, they lose ten Coins, which is distributed to the player's character or team. If the character who placed the 10-Coin Hex (or someone in the same team as whoever placed it) ends their turn on it, they earn five Coins. Like any other Hex, after the 10-Coin Hex is activated, the Space that it was on returns to normal.

The 10-Coin Hex has an equivalent named 20-Coin Hex, which takes away twenty Coins from an opponent instead of ten.
