1-UP is a downloadable microgame in WarioWare: D.I.Y. and WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase. It was first released in Japan on May 20, 2009, then in North America on April 19, 2010, and lastly in Europe and Australia on May 21, 2010.

1-UP is based on Super Mario Bros., and reuses assets from said game.
Gameplay[]
The object is for Mario to receive a 1-Up, whether by collecting three Coins or obtaining a 1-Up Mushroom. The player takes control of Mario, who is riding a lift. They have to tap Mario to have him jump onto another lift. The player then has to tap a ? Block, where a 1-Up Mushroom emerges. After this, the player has to tap a Coin Block at the right timing so that the 1-Up Mushroom bounces off of it and Mario can collect it, resulting in a win. Alternatively, because Mario starts with 97 Coins, the player can hit the Coin Block three times for Mario to get a 1-Up. If the microgame timer runs out or if Mario falls off a lift, the player loses at the microgame.
