I just want to talk about how long people have been predicting stuff for this game, I find it kind of funny and crazy, just how long people have been predicting things for this game only for it to not be here 10 years later. I have been seeing predicting Mario Kart 9 videos dating back to shortly after Mario Kart 8 released on the Wii U, little did those people know that we would get nothing more than a remake with more content, a mobile game, and a AR spin-off game in ten years time. Imagine when Nintendo actually releases it. Do you think Mario Kart 9 is one of the most speculated games Nintendo has not confirmed yet? From what I've seen, I think it does. Do you think it is one of the more hyped Nintendo games in recent years? I think it is.

I know that Ludwig von Koopa is german, but what about Larry, Roy, Lemmy, Wendy O, Morton, and Iggy?

So, I decided to take a more complicated path in sprite styles and make a SRB2 v2.2-styled sprite for a Mario character (in this case, Starlow).

This took me a while (anti-aliasing is a PAIN), but I managed, and I’m pretty proud of the result here, so I hope you like it for the effort and not just the character.

Also, don’t mind the palette, I had to use it for reference on where to put the colours. I might experiment with other palettes in the “yellow” range in case “lemon” isn’t the final.

I might do other Mario characters/items as well (maybe a Super Mushroom or something simple), but the chances I decide to do that isn’t all that likely.
