Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble ist nach Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest die zweite Fortsetzung des erfolgreichen Spiels Donkey Kong Country und war für viele Jahre der letzte Teil der Serie, bis 2010 ein neuer Teil, Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii), veröffentlicht wurde. Es stellt den ersten Auftritt Kiddy Kongs überhaupt da.

Desweiteren erschien eine ähnliche GameBoy-Version des Spiels, Donkey Kong Land III.

Handlung

Diesesmal wurden Donkey Kong und Diddy Kong von KAOS, dem bösen Roboter entführt, weshalb sich Dixie Kong und Kiddy Kong auf den Weg machen das Affengespann zu befreien.

Getreu des Vorgängers gibt es auch nun wieder einen bewährten und einen neuen Charakter: Dixie Kong und der Neuling, Dixies Cousin Kiddy Kong.

Dies ist das einzige Spiel der Donkey Kong Country-Serie, in dem Diddy Kong nicht spielbar ist. Weiterhin kann man nur in diesem Siel Kiddy Kong spielen.
